Instead of the sexual come-ons found in the previous installment, SUITE 69: BLACK LESBIAN EROTICA VOLUME III<\/strong><\/em> is more expressive about heartbreak and love lost this time around.<\/p>\n

Billie Simone\u2019s heart and mind are heavier, and her poems recount a darker time when love beat her down and could have left her for dead. Lucky for her (and for us), Simone channels her anguish into something we could absorb.<\/p>\n

Anyone can empathize with losing a love. When Simone\u2019s at her most vulnerable, is when you can really relate:<\/p>\n

Cause you\u2026<\/em><\/strong>
\nGot inside me\u2026<\/em><\/strong>
\nDeeply in my insides\u2019 insides<\/em><\/strong>
\nAnd you are still there<\/em><\/strong>
\nLingering in every nook and cranny<\/em><\/strong>
\nAnd every crevice and<\/em><\/strong>
\nCrack\u2026<\/em><\/strong>
\nAin\u2019t no woman\u2026Ain\u2019t nobody\u2026<\/em><\/strong>
\nEvery penetrated me like that\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Yet while nursing her wounds, Simone\u2019s poems tell of learning the importance of loving oneself. It helps her through it all, and permits her heart to open again.<\/p>\n

\nScars<\/em><\/strong>
\nLove that you love<\/em><\/strong>
\nMe just as hard<\/em><\/strong>
\nLove that you<\/em><\/strong>
\nLove me with no regard<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Simone, with Suite 69: Black Lesbian Erotica Volume III<\/em>, plunges us into the mind of a stud who loses her swagger a bit, yet sees her rise again. However, it\u2019s worth the aches chronicled in her poems to glance her smile gracing the book\u2019s cover.<\/p>\n
